Anyone can show you their wins. More useful: we run our own company on the same system we'd build for you. Here's what it handles, what it refuses to touch, and what broke in the first ninety days.
I'm an IATAN-accredited event producer. I founded Planidex because planning events meant spreadsheets, a dozen browser tabs and a budget nobody trusted — and nothing on the market fixed it. Real customers, real card payments, and deadlines that don't move because somebody's wedding is on Saturday.
It is built on Chatworthy and the AI Discovery Group operating systems — the same two things we'd build for you, nothing special-cased. Which means when I tell you how these hold up under pressure, I'm not quoting a case study. I'm telling you what happened to mine.
Chatworthy runs the opening conversation, so nobody starts at a blank form — it asks what the event is and what the real constraints are. Front Desk OS gives every enquiry a next step. Revenue OS handles everything after the card clears. Executive Command reduces the lot to a short list of what actually needs a person.
Refunds and disputes. Contracts. Anything happening live. Judgment calls. And when it isn't sure, it stops and says so instead of guessing well. That last one is the rule most systems don't have, and it's the one that decides whether you can trust the rest.
The numbers, what got handed to a human and why, and the three things that broke early on. It's published because a page showing only the good parts isn't proof of anything.
Read the operating recordMost vendors demo. We actually run one.
Blush & Whimsy. Started 2016, grew to several million, closed on my terms in 2025. The coverage below is from those years and it's all dated, because pretending 2018 press is current would be exactly the kind of thing I tell clients not to do.
Every item links to the original article. If it isn't linked here, I'm not claiming it.
A posting in Rome, where I also took my M.A. in Government & Politics at St John's University.
Development programmes, as a contractor through Chemonics International.
International Trade Specialist, then trade and development consulting in Washington, D.C.
IATAN-accredited event producer — the accreditation U.S. travel and event professionals hold to book directly with suppliers. It's why Planidex exists, and why I know that industry's failure points from the inside.
Adjunct professor at New Mexico State University. Advisor at UT Dallas' Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and NMSU's Arrowhead Center.
Bring the friction, not a polished brief.
Write me four lines about what's breaking. I read everything myself, usually the same day. If I'm not the right person, I'll say so and point you at someone who is.
